Mid Century Design actively supports the growing demand in the market for a broad range of classic mid-century furniture and accessories. The opportunities for such styles to be integrated into the New Zealand setting continue to expand, reflecting design (and fashion) trends both here and abroad. As the market allows, the company sources a unique collection of classic furniture pieces by prominent mid-century American Designers such as Paul Frankl, Paul McCobb, Milo Baughman, Edward Wormley, T H Robsjohn-Gibbings, Finn Juhl amongst others. Our selection of lamps is always extensive, whether you are looking for a small, elegant bedside, a gorgeous pair of table lamps, a statement with an imposing floor lamp, or a vintage chandelier.
In addition to the provision of this collection, we also offer Interior Design Services to suit your particular needs. Mid Century Design is run by Bridget Hanley who studied at Parsons School of Design in New York before gaining first-hand experience with leading residential interior design companies in Manhattan.
